Festival of Dreams
When imagination overcomes its own limitations, it silences the mind and the world dissolves into a range of fantastic sounds, images and moments that can only be experienced with the heart. We dream when we are unconscious – therein lies the charm: losing control. At the Festival of Dreams, limits become blurred and the city presents a kind of kaleidoscopic art extravaganza that stimulates all the senses and walks the line between dreams and reality.
Marvel. Laugh. Celebrate.
A colourful festival for free-spirited visionaries that has been entertaining audiences for quarter of a century. From the beginning until the end of August, cabaret artists, acrobats, jugglers and clowns takeover the Dogana hall in Innsbruck. The diverse programme delights audiences with vaudeville and slapstick comedy, as well as imaginative and exuberant performances and productions. Another tradition at the Festival of Dreams is the children’s programme, which is free of charge and takes place on a selected date in the Dogana hall.
