Innsbruck Night Run
Running in Innsbruck: the perfect place to train or unwind – and also perfect for a competition showdown. The night run in September attracts athletes and fans to the streets of Innsbruck. Spectators cheer on their runners and enjoy the party atmosphere as athletes head towards the finish line. Incidentally, the start and finish lines are both located in the city centre.
Three distance options
The top discipline is a half-marathon but there are also two shorter routes: the 8.4 km Volkslauf and the 4.2 km fitness option. Water and refreshment stations are located along the route for runners. Showers and physiotherapists are available after the race if required. Runners also receive a starter bag packed full of useful goodies when picking up their start number.
Public transport to the race
Leave your car at home and travel on public transport instead. It’s easy and free of charge for runners: your start number can be used as a ticket and is valid for one and a half hours before and after the race.
