If only we could preserve the current weather, at least for a few days! But the old Greeks knew some time ago that everything is in a state of flux, and this particularly applies to the weather! The morning will still be quite nice, but after midday the clouds will increase and give way to showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
On Tuesday a ridge of high pressure will build: it will be small but strong and will bring us a bright day. Unfortunately, this high will be only short-lived and the next front will arrive here on Wednesday.
Swimming and relaxing in Innsbruck and its regions
The bathing lakes and open-air pools in Innsbruck and its holiday villages invite you to enjoy the summer. The Rossau bathing lake, known locally as 'Baggersee', offers plenty of space for splashing around and bathing. The open-air pools at Tivoli and the Olympic Village are easily accessible by public transport, and in the western holiday villages, Natterer See (Lake Natters) is a gem to behold. Here, free children's activities keep our smaller guests occupied and allow the parents some time to themselves. There are further swimming facilities in the leisure centre in Axams, the open-air pool in Völs and at Lanser See (Lake Lans).
