Beginners and experts
Muttereralm is the perfect place to learn to ski and the Kinderland children’s area at the summit lift station is ideal for practicing those turns. However, the resort also offers highlights for advanced skiers, such as the Pfriemesköpfl FIS slalom run and the wonderful “Götzner Abfahrt” slope.
First on the slopes
Get the most out of your day by hitting the slopes first thing in the morning. The Muttereralm offers a special piste experience every Wednesday: make your first turns while the slopes are still empty. Our tip: sign up early, participant numbers are limited.
Food and drink on the mountain
The Muttereralm is home to many wonderful guesthouses and mountain huts. Enjoy homemade specialties at the Muttereralm restaurant by the summit lift station or stop off at the traditional Nockhof guesthouse at the middle station. The igloo bar at the top of the Pfriemesköpfl is also a great destination for a mid-skiing break. Terrassencafé Markus offers delicious refreshments and homemade cakes at the Muttereralmpark bottom lift station, while “Auf an Sprung” serves burgers and drinks in a rustic-modern setting at the bottom lift station of the Götznerbahn. (Anyone who wants a bit more peace and quiet can visit the Götzner Alm, the Scheipenhof or the Stockerhof. These places are not located on the slopes and can only be reached on foot. But they are still well worth a visit in winter.)
