Forecast

A large area of low pressure is situated over Central Europe! Low pressure does not necessarily mean bad weather as each low contains areas of precipitation as well as brighter areas. For today we should be pessimistic, however! Unfortunately, our region is at the heart of the main area of precipitation and we will therefore get thick cloud and frequent precipitation.

Tendency

Friday will once again bring unstable weather. On Saturday, the Azores high will stretch over Central Europe allowing an improvement in the weather.

Oberhofer Höhenweg

The Oberhofer Ridgeway Trail takes you from Sellraintal to the Inntal, and there are two starting points to choose from: the Zirmbachalm near Kühtai, or the bus stop in the car park between the avalanche shelters on the L13 road. The trail takes you along a narrow track to the 2400m-high Flaurlinger Scharte. On the side of the Inntal, the trail leads to the 1700m-high Oberhofer Melkalm, where a wonderful view of the valley awaits you. Keep an eye on the time, however, as there is nowhere to sleep here. From the Oberhofer Melkalm, the trail descends into the village of Oberhofen, where public transport will return you to the starting point of your hike.
