On Sunday, we will be under the influence of an easterly airflow. But instead of sending us very cold and dry air, as is common at this time of year, we will receive old air masses from the Mediterranean. They are humid, but not humid enough to produce significant snowfall. Our weather will therefore continue to be very cloudy and snow flakes will be rare.
The mostly dry weather with variable amounts of cloud will continue.
A test of endurance for athletic bikers directly above Innsbruck! This route begins with a steady intermediate climb, before becoming steeper and more challenging towards the end near the edge of the forest. At an altitude of approximately 1600m you'll find the serviced Bodensteinalm alpine hut. From here, the trail continues steeply, forcing both experienced and fit bikers to glance enviously at the cable car travellers above, while battling with the ever-increasing muscle power required. At the Seegrube (serviced), there is the opportunity to take a well-earned break and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Zillertaler and Stubaier Alps.
