Forecast

We quickly get used to such nice weather: plenty of sunshine, mild temperatures and good visibility!

Today will not bring any changes. Apart from a few harmless cloud patches, the weather will be bright all day long.

Tendency

Our sunny high pressure area will continue to dominate our weather on Thursday! Only on Friday, a weak weather front will become noticeable with a few clouds. From Saturday, however, strong high pressure will return to us!

Living traditions

At the heart of cultural life in Oberperfuss

It’s said that people are reflected in their customs – this is certainly the case in Oberperfuss.

Traditions are community spirit brought to life – that’s why traditional events play such a large role in the cultural lives of the people from Oberperfuss and why they are celebrated with such enthusiasm every year. Guests are invited to witness Tyrolean tradition and culture and immerse themselves in the action. Open-air concerts, Tyrolean evenings, farm experiences and traditional parades are captivating cultural and musical highlights for young and old. The “Kapellenwanderung” (Chapel Walk) in Oberperfuss is also an impressive experience, passing over 20 charming chapels set between 815 and 1,500 metres above sea level that are just waiting to be admired.

Dance, celebrate, socialise.

The local festivals – held on alpine pastures, in the villages or in marquees – are always a special experience. They bring lots of laughs, celebration and, of course, dancing – and give visitors the chance to experience the local customs and traditions first-hand while socialising and listening to the traditional bands.

Advent season, by contrast, is a time for contemplation and reflection, when the streets are adorned in festive décor and the scent of delicious baked goods sweetens the wait for Christmas. Winter concerts, Advent singing and the romantic Christmas market bring the Christmas spirit to life – as do the many different nativity scenes that can be enjoyed on a nativity scene tour. Oberperfuss and Ranggen, in particular, are two of the most impressive destinations for viewing nativity scenes in Tyrol.
