Adventure at Axamer Lizum
Innsbruck's "white roof"
A real winter hotspot! At Axamer Lizum, three things are certain: snow, action and winter sports fun. Perfect snow conditions from early December to mid-April, state-of-the-art lifts and the unique “Hochbahn” make this diverse ski resort an ideal winter destination for alpine fun.
Axamer Lizum offers 40 kilometres of varied slopes that cover a wide range of difficulty levels. This ski resort is particularly unique thanks to its family hotspots, great ski schools and many other exciting special features, such as rails, jumps, a snow park, the RaceCorner and the SpeedCheck. And the highlight for off-piste and freeride fans – 300 hectares of untouched powder, a veritable winter playground for experienced off-piste enthusiasts. It’s no wonder Axamer Lizum was awarded the “Top of the Mountain Award 2013”.
Experience more of winter - in and off the pistes
Axamer Lizum also offers plenty of activities for when the skis come off – whether night tobogganing on the illuminated toboggan run under the starry Tyrolean skies, cross-country skiing on the extensive network of well-maintained cross-country trails that are ideal for both skating and classic cross-country skiing or enjoying a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the romantic Alpine scenery.
One thing that definitely shouldn’t be missed: après-ski at one of the many alpine restaurants or mountain huts – for a fantastic experience with a fun atmosphere and lively music. Exciting winter sports meet Tyrolean culinary delights in the panorama restaurant Hoadlhaus – surrounded by the majestic Kalkkögel mountain range and wrapped in the white winter blanket of the Alps. Axamer Lizum: an Olympic skiing paradise for adventurers, piste fans, freestylers and families.
