Culture meets nature
Experience Tyrolean traditions
Culture and nature, inextricably intertwined: In Mutters & Natters, nature is part of the culture – and vice versa. Colourful and spectacular events bring the traditions of past decades and centuries back to life. They invite visitors to participate and to experience the real Tyrol.
Because the residents of Mutters and Natters really know how to celebrate tradition – exuberant celebrations, genuine Tyrolean folk music from traditional bands and plenty of regional cuisine all contribute to the cultural wealth of the two villages. And this is what our guests appreciate most.
For example, when farmers from Natters demonstrate the traditional bread-making process: visitors can experience all of the individual steps and watch as the hearty farmhouse bread bakes in the historic village bread oven, slowly becoming a delicious sensation.
Unforgettable moments for guests big and small
When the evening mountain air is filled with the sound of the local brass band playing Tyrolean folk music at an open-air concert, there is sure to be lots of fun and dancing. The proud culture of traditional dress, on the other hand, can be admired at the entertaining “Tyrolean evenings”. And what is it really like on a farm? A fascinating guided farm tour provides a behind-the-scenes look and is a great experience for the whole family. Especially if it’s at Martina’s farm – where children have the opportunity to get up close to the animals and make memories that they will cherish forever.
Pony rides and horse-drawn carriages are yet more unique ways to explore the cultural diversity and spectacular nature in and around Mutters & Natters. More information is available in our events calendar or from the tourist office.
