Forecast

Cold air masses will pass over the Alps from the north to the south bringing fresh snow to the valleys.

But as this air is not very humid, the snow showers will not bring much new accumulation of snow.

Tendency

Monday will then bring winter weather with snowfall and temperatures around the seasonal average!

The weather forecast for the next few days is fairly promising: It will vary between bright and cloudy with showers being rare.

A farm straight from a picture book

Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city

We’ve all seen it happen – a cute puppy or a little duckling appears and children simply forget the world around them. Martina’s farm gives young animal-lovers the chance to admire sheep, goats, rabbits and other animals up close. However, alongside the traditional farm animals, such as cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits and a pony, there are also rarer and more endangered breeds of domestic animals, such as fallow deer, guinea pigs, a peacock, “Princess” the alpaca, “Prince” the black donkey and the two white donkeys “Empress Elisabeth” and “Emperor Franz Joseph” with their two cute foals – an absolute highlight for young explorers.

A hands-on world of animals

The beauty of Martina’s farm is that all of the animals live together in the same enclosure. They’re good friends, trusting and lovable. Martina knows all of the animals by name and takes care of them herself each and every day. And it shows. It’s rare to see such happy animals – and they’re used to people too. It’s the perfect place to teach children how to deal with animals in a fun way. Riding, petting, feeding – everything goes. And it doesn’t take long for children to make friends: be it with the clever goat, the baby deer or the proud peacock. All these adventures in just one day certainly work up an appetite – luckily the on-site Nattererboden restaurant offers perfect refreshments for little cowboys and animal tamers...and their parents of course.
