Forecast

Yesterday the airflow swung to the south and brought a bit more humid maritime air to our region. For today no change is expected: the air arriving here is not humid enough to prevent the sun from shining, but it will still produce thunderstorms.

Tendency

On Thursday und Friday the sky will be partly clear, partly cloudy. During the second half of the day the risk of thunderstorms will be moderate.

Muttereralm - shared adventures

Water, hiking and biking at the Muttereralm - the "Adventure Mountain"

Where the mountains are close enough to touch and the beauty of nature unfolds before your very eyes. Where families explore together and hospitality & warmth are all part of the experience. Every day is an adventure in a place where sport and relaxation happen side by side. Every moment is special. Every experience unforgettable. The sunny Muttereralm is the perfect starting point for enjoyable and adventurous hikes and fantastic mountain bike rides.

The famous Innsbrucker Almenweg trail leads to countless panoramic viewpoints and special energy sites. Plus there are numerous peaks at 2,000 metres above sea level that are just waiting to be conquered: climb the Saile (2,403 m), also called Nockspitze by locals, the Birgitzköpfl (1,984 m) or the Hoadl (2,340 m) and enjoy the wonderful feeling of seeing the world far below as you marvel at the spectacular views.

Mountain adventures for alpine enthusiasts, treasure hunters and thrillseekers. Cooling-off included

The Panoramasee lake at the Muttereralm is both invigorating and refreshing – like a summer breeze high above the Capital of the Alps. The many rustic mountain huts invite you to relax and soak up the sun, while discovering delicious alpine cuisine, exquisite treats and wonderful beer – Tyrolean style. Alternatively, be pampered with tasty delights at the Muttereralm restaurant.

For kids, the absolute highlight is the alpine playground between the top of the cable car and the Panoramasee lake. Gold-seekers and geocachers can enjoy unforgettable treasure hunts that require both teamwork and sportsmanship – and take participants on a very special journey through nature. The mountain can be climbed on foot or by cable car – the revolutionary “Mutterer Mountain Carts” and the downhill track (brand new in 2015) are a fun and speedy way to get back down.
