Muttereralm - Experience winter together
More winter for everyone
Olympic skiing fun for the whole family. Panoramic pistes and beginners’ slopes. Well-maintained, snowy and full of adventure. The Muttereralm is a diverse ski area that has something for everyone – from the “Götzner Abfahrt” run above the kids’ park and the “MAP” snow park for freestylers to the family pistes for more leisurely skiers and deep powder for off-piste enthusiasts. “First tracks” offers an exclusive, untouched and unforgettable experience – hit the slopes from 7.30 am every Wednesday and make your first turns of the day in fresh snow. And who says that starting out has to be difficult? Not here at the Muttereralm where renowned ski schools and highly trained instructors make learning easy. Whether big or small, experienced or hitting the snow for the first time: the Muttereralm is the perfect ski destination for everyone – with heaps of skiing excitement and family fun every day.
The Muttereralm cable cars and the Muttereralm ski area were awarded the title of “Erlebnisberg des Jahres” (Adventure Mountain of the Year) by an international ski area test. The Muttereralm cable cars particularly stood out in the categories “Fun & Action” and “Ideas & Implementation”. And to top it off, the pistes were also awarded an international seal of quality. The MAP fun park with kids’ park, the family area, the prices, the parking facilities and the children’s programme with clown duo Herbert & Mimi were all enthusiastically received, as well as the children’s experiences and nature adventures with the forest ranger.
Fun and enjoyment - on and off the pistes
What could be better than sitting on a wonderful terrace and soaking up the sun on a magnificent winter day? Preferably with delicious refreshments from one of the many inviting mountain huts. Three toboggan runs ensure that speed records can also be broken off the pistes – for example on the new “sport toboggan run” that runs from the middle station of the cable car to the Nockhof mountain hut. There’s also a family toboggan run, which offers an exciting panoramic tobogganing experience for the whole family. Ski tourers and winter hikers also often stop off at the mountain huts to replenish their energy levels and get ready for unforgettable ski tours among the surrounding alpine peaks.
