Forecast

Weather fronts passed over our region and have left us humid air. What will follow now is a period of calmer weather.

Saturday will still start with a lot of clouds and maybe light showers. However, calm weather does not necessarily mean nice weather; the sun will hardly break through today.

Tendency

The weather conditions will remain November-like: low clouds will continue to bring precipitation.

Opening Hours

This pretty chapel is located on the hillside on the right-hand side of the road leading out of the village centre towards Obere Gasse, in the area known as Berchtesgaden. Berchtesgadner Chapel was consecrated on 27 August 1993. It was independently constructed by the residents of Berchtesgaden based on plans drawn up by Franz Haider. The ceiling painting and the panels depicting the Fourteen Holy Helpers were created by the painter Dagmar Ballogh. The statue of the Virgin Mary was donated to the church by the Ursuline Convent in Innsbruck. A new bell that was donated to the chapel was consecrated together with the building.
