The city museum

Get to know more about the city’s history. The exhibition includes paintings by famous Tyrolean artists, panoramic paintings, historic photographs, artefacts, medieval documents and posters.

The city archive

The city archive documents Innsbruck’s history from its beginnings to the present day. It features an extensive collection of paintings, graphic prints, blueprints, last wills, over 100,000 photographs and newspapers dating back to 1800s.
