For all those who are looking for deceleration in nature and are good at skiing, a ski tour is just the thing. On this page we present some tour suggestions. As with all alpine activities, the same applies here: The athlete:s must check the conditions and risks themselves before each tour, carry adequate avalanche equipment and follow the information provided by theTyrol Avalanche Warning Service . Fotscher Windegg

This ski tour begins at the ice bridge car park and is a simple, yet long ski tour offering spectacular views. The Fotscher Windegg is one of the most popular ski tours in the Sellrain Valley. the 7km-long tour should take you about four-and-a-half hours to accomplish.

Gleirscher Fernerkogel

Hoher Seblaskogel

A popular ski touring area near the Westfalenhaus alpine hut, open from mid-February to the end of April. A storage room for skis is available. This difficult tour is ideal for practiced ski tourers, and begins in Lüsens. After around 5.5 hours, you'll reach the summit.

Hühnereggen

The Hühnereggen is a long ridge and setting for an intermediate-level ski tour. Starting point is Potsdamer Hütte, and parking is available at the ice bridge in Fotschertal.

Lampsenspitze

The must-have in the Kühtai-Sellraintal region: the most popular ski tour in the region, including an educational ski touring trail. First in the forest or on the toboggan run up to the tree line. Above, extensive, good ski terrain with countless variations. The educational ski touring trail on the Lampsenspitze is ideal for beginners as it provides an informative introduction to ski touring. Beginners can gain their first experience in open terrain here, while advanced skiers can hone their skills. Five information boards along the route provide important information on avalanche safety, equipment and route selection. These stations invite you to pause along the way, reflect on what you have learned and exchange ideas with your tour partners.

Lüsener Fernerkogel

The flagship of Sellrain's ski tour portfolio with everything that makes a high alpine ski tour. A striking mountain shape like out of a movie, a huge glacier basin that opens up after more than a thousand vertical meters of great ski slopes, a traverse between red granite like in Chamonix and an alpine summit ridge at the end. With excellent views over the Zillertal, Stubai and Ötztal ice giants, the Große Zinne, all the high peaks of the Dolomites, the Ortler group, Piz Bernina, Schesaplana, the Zugspitze and as far as Munich and from the Watzmann via the Hochkönig to the Großglockner and Großvenediger.
