Forecast

Today will again be very mild for the season. It is uncertain, however, if the weather will remain dry. The foehn winds, which are responsible for these warm temperatures, will weaken during the day and die away completely between midday and the evening, most likely in the early afternoon. As a consequence, dense cloud will develop and produce showers.

Tendency

On Wednesday Thursday, Friday and Saturday neither high pressure nor low pressure will be dominant. The weather will remain bright to cloudy and dry.

As the City Tower is a Historic Place and its existing form has to be preserved, there is no lift and you can only reach its top by climbing 133 steps.

Built between 1442 and 1450, this magnificent tower has a 16th century bulbous cupola under which was the flat of the towers warden situated until the 60s of the 20th century.

If we look to the right – with the Golden Roof behind us – we will see the lavishly adorned Helbling house diagonally opposite of the City Tower.
