Forecast

The current area of low pressure will leave us! The cloudy remnants will clear during the morning and we will get a few hours of bright and clear weather. Already by the afternoon, new clouds will build and probably produce some showers.

Tendency

During the next few days it will be warmer, but with the air becoming quite sultry at times occasional thunderstorms may occur, especially in the late afternoon and evening.

A challenging tour from Zirl to the Neue Magdeburger alpine hut, and a good starting point for the climb up Solstein. At the town's northern end, at the underpass, the climb begins along the road towards Hochzirl. Shortly after the third sharp bend, the route turns right along the curvy track that constantly rises through the Fliesserwald. After approx. 4km, the route takes another right towards Mountain Bike Route 543 with the Neue Magdeburger hut as its destination and its fantastic views of the Tuxer and Stubaier Alps! In connection with Mountain Bike Route 543, the descent to Zirl can also be accomplished on the other side of the Brunn valley.
