Forecast

On Wednesday the airflow swung to the south and brought a bit more humid maritime air to our region, which significantly increased the risk of thunderstorms. For Thursday no change is expected: Heavy cloud and localised thundery showers will alternate with sunny spells.

Tendency

On Friday and on Saturday we will still see heavy cloud and occasional thunderstorms, but from Sunday sunshine and warm temperatures will dominate the weather scene again.

The 'fried cheese dumpling' route - a local favourite. A route with ever-changing climbs and short levels, mostly shaded in the lower section. After 1.5km, the trail turns off towards Arzl shooting range and shortly before Arzler Alm, heads further to Rumer Alm. 1.5km after Arzler Alm is a turn-off towards Höttinger Bild and Achselwaldweg. 1km before Höttinger Alm, it joins the track to Bodenstein Alm (serviced). The final stage climbs through treeless meadowlands and offers fantastic views of the Stubaier and Zillertaler Alps. Great food is available at Höttinger Alm at the end of the route with spectacular views of Innsbruck. A popular meeting place throughout the year for many local bikers.
