Forecast

The weather is barely changing at the moment. An area of low pressure lies over Central Europe and is heading slowly east. There will be sunny spells in the morning, and then the cloud will thicken and cause thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Tendency

During the following days, we should lower our expectations of the weather! The general weather situation will not change and even more humid air masses will move into Central Europe.

Head west from the hikers' car park along the forest path above Wildermieming, before reaching the turn-off to Iversensteig. This challenging climb goes steeply upwards towards the Iversenhütte alpine hut (unserviced). After continuing along this track, which requires surefootedness and a good head for heights, you'll reach Judenköpfe roughly four hours later. The route also poses challenges across Judentörl and then later along the Alplbach uphill to the Neue Alplhütte alpine hut. The descent from here is via the Kurpfuschersteig towards Straßberghaus and along the Ochsenbründlsteig back to the car park.
