Forecast

On Wednesday, small pressure differences will determine the weather scene, which means that the air will become stationary and that neither high nor low pressure will be dominant. Our weather will therefore be neither fish nor fowl: longer sunny spells and cloudy periods will alternate, with showers being very rare. The wind will be weak at all altitudes and temperatures will be around the seasonal average.

Tendency

On Thursday, the westerly airflow will contain some dry air masses and the clouds will mostly dissipate. On Friday, the cloud will thicken again.

Course:
The very challenging Men Juniors 23 Individual Time Trial will also start at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds. The riders initially head in an easterly direction through the villages of Kolsass and Weer, where they cross the Inn river. Wind conditions will play an important role here. Passing the village of Fritzens, riders reach the first climb in Baumkirchen.

From the village of Mils the course is identical to that of the Women Juniors Individual Time Trial, meaning riders must also contend with the tough climb from Mils to Absam. The final push to the finish is a rolling section through a series of villages to the east of Innsbruck (Absam, Thaur, Rum, Arzl and Mühlau) before riders reach the regional capital itself, where the race finishes in front of the Hofburg imperial palace.
