Forecast

Today will again be very mild for the season. It is uncertain, however, if the weather will remain dry. The foehn winds, which are responsible for these warm temperatures, will weaken during the day and die away completely between midday and the evening, most likely in the early afternoon. As a consequence, dense cloud will develop.

Tendency

On Saturday we will see an improvement in the weather. Sunday will bring changeable weather conditions with a mix of sunshine, clouds and a few showers.

The Innsbruck MTB mountain hut tour at the foot of the Nordkette - with wonderful views over Tyrol's capital city and nearby village Rum. Follow the forestry road in Mühlau Forest towards Hungerburg or, alternatively, take the funicular or the J bus to the start. From here, take the Umbrüggler Almweg to the eponymous alpine hut. Then follow the signs along the pleasant forestry road (no climb needed) to Arzler Alm, and from here, continue along the track (slight climb) towards Rumer Alm. At the second junction, go through the barrier and follow the path on foot until you reach the forestry road again, and then it's just 10 minutes hard riding upwards to Rumer Alm. To return, take the forestry road back down towards Rechenhof and then follow the road to Innsbruck.
