Forecast

The weather is barely changing at the moment. An area of low pressure lies over Central Europe and is heading slowly east. There will be sunny spells in the morning, and then the cloud will thicken and cause thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Tendency

During the following days, we should lower our expectations of the weather! The general weather situation will not change and even more humid air masses will move into Central Europe.

This section of the Way of St James goes away from the main roads along 3 alpine passes - Fern Pass, the old Gaicht Pass and Joch Pass. Spiritual accommodation along the way can be found in the Cistercian abbey in Stams and at the pilgrimage church of Maria Locherboden near Mötz. The route takes you through a countryside with many chapels and onto Mieminger Plateau. Passing Burg Klamm (castle), you continue towards Obsteig across larch meadows to Nassereith. After here, it's further on via Fern Pass to Lachmoos, Bichlbach, Berwang, Weißenbach am Lech, Haldensee, Bad Hindelang and Immerstadt-Bühl all the way to the end at Oberstaufen-Zell.
