The start of The Wild One is fast, playful and curvy. The route sends you flying down through alpine meadows like a marble run and you are sure to have found your flow by the time you've covered the many easy jumps. The Wild One runs from the top of the Nockspitzbahn lift down to the middle station and is part of the downhill race track. If you want to continue down into the valley, the logical extension is to follow The Rough One, which is an almost natural trail. The route predominantly stays by the side of the pistes from the mountain lift station at Pfriemesköpfl to the turnoff for the Götznerabfahrt trail near the Muttereralm reservoir. From there, there is also a connection to the Muttereralm singletrack.

THE WILD ONE

  • From the mountain station to the middle station of the Nockspitzbahn lift
  • Difficulty: S2
  • Characteristics: sporty and flowing with jumps and banked curves
  • Route composition: strengthened surface, banked curves, jumps, speed. The upper section of the trail also has a connection to the trails in Mutters.
