Forecast

High pressure remains stationary and we can thus look forward to another marvellous day! There will be plenty of sunshine with just harmless cumulus clouds.

Tendency

During the next few days it will stay warm, but with the air becoming quite sultry at times, occasional thunderstorms may occur, especially in the late afternoon and evening.

Back to list
From the village of Rum, this walk heads along Bahnhofstraße and under the rail tracks to the Rumer Hof Restaurant and Hotel. From here, follow Serlesstraße to the end. Along the way, you'll pass many different shopping centres and the architecturally-interesting parish church of Neu-Rum. Turn left into Kugelfangweg, which heads straight to the River Inn. Follow the road towards the river, heading under a road bridge and then a rail bridge, before crossing the Inn at the Mühlauer Brücke bridge and continuing along the Innpromenade on the southern banks of the river. You'll soon see a roofed wooden bridge. Cross this and you'll be back on the northern side. After crossing the road, the route then snakes uphill towards the forest before reaching the Alpine Zoo and its wonderful displays. Buses 501, 502, 503 and 504 will take you back from Innstraße and/or Mühlauer Brücke.
