Jogging and Nordic Walking in the Innsbruck region

Run past the colourful buildings along the River Inn, through the arcades in the historic old town to the Golden Roof. Or past Wilten Abbey to the green, wooded Bergisel hill, home to Bergisel Ski Jump. Running, jogging and Nordic walking through Innsbruck is a unique sightseeing experience. If your route includes the old town and the city centre, we recommend getting out early in the morning or in the evening. The natural landscapes around the city provide many particularly scenic routes. Run and walk along dirt roads that weave through the fields and past wooded areas, farmhouses and grazing cows. Perfect whether you are training for a marathon, are a passionate trail runner or if just want to clear your head. You may even find a good guesthouse or the most beautiful view of your holiday along the way. Runners discover the Innsbruck region on a different level and can be real Innsbruck insiders after just a few runs.

Did you know?

Nordic Walking is an alternative to jogging that is easy on your joints. The poles provide extra stability and also exercise your arms and upper body when used correctly.
