Pista forestal con pendiente regular y algunos tramos planos cortos. Después de 1 km, llegada a la capilla Höttinger Bild.
Continuar subiendo hasta el desvío a la izquierda. Continuar por el camino Bärfallweg hasta el restaurante Gasthof Rauschbrunnen (1.092 m). En el km 2,75, giro a la derecha (2,5 km aprox.) hasta los prados alpinos y refugios alpinos de Höttinger Alm y Arzler Alm. Mantenerse a la izquierda y después de 3 curvas llegada al final de la pista forestal Achselwaldweg. No hay refugio al final de esta pista forestal.
Senderistas de nivel avanzado pueden continuar hasta Achselkopf, el atractivo refugio alpino Achselkofphütte (1.560 m) y la cumbre Brandjochkreuz (2.268 m).
