Cómo llegar
La tradición de visitar belenes está muy extendida en todo el Tirol. La localidad de Oberperfuss es muy conocida por ser un lugar de gran tradición belenista y destaca por la belleza de sus figuras talladas en madera que se exhiben en las diferentes casas particulares.
El punto de salida del paseo es el aparcamiento gratuito de la iglesia parroquial de Oberperfuss. Allí, delante de la iglesia, se encuentra el atractivo belén municipal de Konrad Spiegl, nieto del famoso tallista local Josef Spiegl, cuyas figuras de ovejas talladas en madera adornan casi todos los belenes de Tirol. Entrando en la iglesia, en la capilla bautismal a mano izquierda se exhibe el bellísimo y antiguo belén de la iglesia, el decorado es obra de Karl Triendl, las figuras son de Giner, Seisl, Mundi, etc. y el foro de Pögl Alois.
La atractiva iglesia parroquial barroca ostenta en la pared el monumento fúnebre y en la pared meridional hay un reloj solar, obra del famoso cartógrafo Peter-Anich.
Desde la iglesia hay que ir dirección oeste para llegar en pocos minutos al Hotel Krone donde se exhibe el belén de la familia Niederkircher. En la recepción hay un letrero “zur Krippe” que indica el camino por diversos pasillos hasta llegar al café Steincafé donde se exhibe una auténtica obra de arte de dimensiones espectaculares: 5,2 x 2,4 metros son las medidas del belén particular más grande de Tirol. Cientos de figuras interpretan escenas bíblicas, desde la anunciación hasta la búsqueda de alojamiento, el nacimiento en el establo, los pastores en el campo y la visita de los Tres Reyes de Oriente. El decorado y el foro pintados a mano le dan al belén un aire oriental muy atractivo. Muchas de las figuras fueron creadas a lo largo de dos siglos y están catalogadas como obras de la escuela Giner-Schule de finales del siglo XVIII. Para montar este belén hay que calcular unas dos semanas de intenso trabajo. Es fascinante observar con que detalle se representa la ciudad natal de Jesús, Jerusalén, el paisaje, los vestidos de los pastores y los animales. Algunos habitantes de Oberperfuss hasta emprendieron el difícil peregrinaje a Tierra Santa para poder expresar de la manera más fidedigna posible las escenas representadas en su belén.
El belén de la familia Niederkircher en el Hotel Krone de Oberfuss es realmente impresionante, su visita absolutamente imprescindible.
El cercano café-restaurante M1 permite poner un punto final muy agradable a una tarde de visitas a los distintos belenes del municipio.
Regreso a pie al punto de salida en el aparcamiento de la iglesia parroquial en pocos minutos, o se puede continuar el paseo desde el Hotel Krone por el pueblo de Oberperfuss y regresar al aparcamiento siguiendo el soleado camino Blasius-Hueber-Weg. Posibilidad de hacer el paseo en sentido inverso.
