La montaña olímpica situada al sur de Innsbruck ofrece vistas sobre más de 400 cumbres. Lugar de competiciones de esquí durante los Juegos Olímpicos de Invierno de Innsbruck en 1964 y 1976 y de los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud en 2012. El jardín alpino de la universidad de Innsbruck ofrece la posibilidad de conocer más de cerca la gran variedad de flora alpina de la región. Punto de salida para excursiones por el famoso Camino de los Cembros dirección a Glungezer. Numerosos refugios alpinos para reponer fuerzas y disfrutar de unos momentos de descanso al sol.
