Fácil excursión por el idílico valle Senderstal de Grinzens, situado en medio de las majestuosas cumbres de las montañas Kalkkögel. Punto de salida en el barrio Kohlstatt de Grinzens. Un camino forestal lleva por el valle Sendertal y sube hasta el refugio Kemater Alm (tiempo a pie: aprox. 2 horas). Aquí hay un sendero que sube hasta el refugio Adolf Pichler Hütte (tiempo a pie: aprox. 45 minutos).
La excursión se puede recortar: subir en coche o BTT por el camino forestal del valle Senderstal (peaje de 3 € para los coches) hasta el aparcamiento Kemater Alm. Desde este punto iniciar el ascenso al refugio Adolf Pichler Hütte.
