Las galerías comerciales Rathausgalerien son una de las estrellas de la arquitectura moderna de Innsbruck. Además de las oficinas de administración de la ciudad, albergan también numerosas tiendas y restaurantes. El antiguo edificio del ayuntamiento (Rathaus) está revestido por completo de cristal que deja paso a la luz natural, en la planta baja se encuentra toda la oferta comercial. Es también un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de unas excelentes vistas: en el hotel de diseño “The Penz”, el café-restaurante “Lichtblick” y el bar con vistas panorámicas “360°”. Las galerías comerciales Rathausgalerien están situadas en medio de la zona peatonal de la calle Maria-Theresien-Strasse.
