Entre en alguna de las famosas “Stuben” (salas) históricas y vea como vivían los tiroleses en el pasado. El museo de Arte Popular del Tirol y la Iglesia de la Corte imperial albergan las colecciones de arte de la historia reciente más importantes, entre ellas: artesanía y oficios rurales, preciosas arcas pintadas, herramientas y belenes. Los coloridos trajes regionales muestran la gran variedad de la moda que existía entre los diferentes valles y localidades. Exposiciones temporales sobre temas como fiestas tradicionales, objetos de la vida cotidiana y los problemas a los que la población tenía que hacer frente a lo largo de la historia muestran las inquietudes y el afán de superación de la población de Innsbruck y del Tirol durante los últimos siglos.
