El museo Thurnfels está ubicado en el ayuntamiento, antigua sede Thurnfels (torre de Völs), y permite conocer con más detalle la historia de este municipio.

Un museo muy interesante: las obras de restauración del interior de la antigua iglesia parroquial de Völs permitieron el descubrimiento de unos objetos muy valiosos que componen la parte central y más importante de la exhibición. Otras piezas expuestas proceden del Museo Nacional del Tirol Ferdinandeum de Innsbruck.

Entre los objetos más destacables se encuentran el hallazgo más antiguo de Völs, un hacha de piedra que data del siglo 3 a.C. y una espada con empuñadura de la Edad de Bronce.
