Design is never just an object, but reflects the values and issues of society. From the minimalist arm prosthesis to the microfibre filter, from the inclusive guidance system to the urban mini windmill or the fitness rollator, the State Prize for Design honours projects and products that focus on social and ecological sustainability and social relevance.
