Exposition: C'est la justice du monde !
In his works, Charles Dickens denounced the unjust social structures of England's Victorian era. For many people, life in the second half of the 19th century was characterised by hard work, abject poverty and little leisure time, even for children. Of course, it was also a time of progress and industrialisation.
The exhibition in the Appetizer Museum of the ‘Noaflhaus’ shows the same period from Telfer's perspective. What was life like here? Were there also artists/writers who denounced the situation? Was there an Ebenezer Scrooge in Telfs too?
