Opening Hours

Oberperfuss is rijk aan kapellen. Zeer rustige en idyllisch gelegen wandelwegen voeren dwars door het dorp naar de gedeeltelijk prachtig gerenoveerde bouwwerkjes. De oudste is de Burkterkapel, zij ligt in het brongebied van de Burkter oostelijk van Oberperfuss in het bos, aan het vroegere kerkpad dat naar Axams leidde.

De kapel werd door het Johannesbroederschap ter ere van de heilige Johannes von Nepomuk, van de beek- en bronheilige, gebouwd. Het beeld van de heilige komt uit de 18e eeuw. In 1850 en 1852 werd het gerestaureerd. Op één van de kruisdagen in mei gaat de bevolking op bedevaart naar de Burkterkapel.​

Uitgangspunt: tennisbaan Oberperfuss - Bürgl, een korte wandeling door het bos, die begint en eindigt bij de tennisbaan.
