De start is bij de parkeerplaats van de Hungerburgbaan. De toer verloopt richting het noorden onder de kabelbaan totdat die uitkomt op de bosweg. Deze volgen en na een stuk rechts afbuigen. U gaat over de skipiste tot op 1.340 meter boven zeeniveau. Hier steekt u nogmaals de bosweg over. Er volgt een steile klim van ongeveer 200 hoogtemeters. Aan het eind van de helling verder richting het oosten tot aan de lawinedammen. De weg voert verder in oostelijke richting tot aan de Seegrube.
