Route naar het startpunt
De rodelbaan op de Rangger Köpfl behoort met haar meer dan acht kilometer, met hulp om boven te komen, tot de langste rodelbanen van de regio Innsbruck. De baan bestaat uit drie deeltrajecten. Een groot deel van het traject zweeft u indien gewenst comfortabel met de gondels naar Stiglreith en verder tot aan de Sulzstich (middelstation). Alleen de laatste 1,4 kilometer tot aan de Rosskogelhütte legt u te voet af naar boven. Of u start uw rodelpartij direct vanaf het kabelbaanstation Sulztich.
Wie de afdaling wil verlengen, wandelt vanaf Sulztich naar de authentieke Rosskogelhütte. Dit bovenste gedeelte is niet verlicht. U heeft dus een voorhoofdslamp nodig voor de klim en de afdaling.
Elke dinsdag en vrijdag nachtrodelen bij voldoende sneeuw: een werkelijk gedenkwaardige belevenis, die uw favoriete vakantieherinnering wordt. Gondel in bedrijf van 18.30 tot 21.30 uur (gondelbaan II slechts tot 21.00 uur).
De deeltrajecten van de rodelbaan:
Dalstation - Stiglreith: met de achtpersoons gondel I vanaf het dalstation naar station Stiglreith. Daar nodigt het panoramarestaurant uit voor een pauze met hapje en drankje. Vanaf hier gaat het ofwel meteen met de rodel 4,7 kilometer direct naar het dal of met de gondel II verder omhoog naar de Sulzstich.
Stiglreith - Sulzstich: verdere twee kilometer naar boven met de gondel II, zo wacht rodelplezier van bijna zeven kilometer tot aan het dalstation.
Sulzstich - Rosskogelhütte: het laatste deel vanaf het restaurant Sulzstich tot aan de authentieke Rosskogelhütte is alleen te voet bereikbaar. De wandeltijd vanaf het bergstation van de gondel II naar de Rosskogelhütte (1,7 kilometer) bedraagt 50 minuten. Dit deeltraject is niet verlicht. Wij adviseren deze afdaling alleen met voorhoofdslamp. Wie hier start, geniet van ruim acht kilometer lang rodelplezier tot in het dal.
