De Kemater Alm ligt aan de voet van de imposante Kalkkögel in het uiterst romantische Senderstal op 1.646 meter boven zeeniveau. Heerlijk uitgangspunt voor wandelingen en tochten in zomer en winter. Door de tolweg, die van Grinzens door het Senderstal naar de hut leidt, in de zomer ook heel gemakkelijk te bereiken.
