Vanaf Innsbruck Schlotthof leidt de tocht over de Bildstöcklweg naar de Höttinger Bild kapel. De kleine pelgrimsplek ligt idyllisch in het bos, ernaast klatert een bron. Vanaf hier gaat het op een aangenaam bospad relatief vlak tot aan de Hungerburg. Wie hier niet wandelend naar Innsbruck wil gaan, reist comfortabel met de Hungerburgbaan de stad in.
Als alternatief kunt u via de Alpenzoo (dierentuin) naar Innsbruck afdalen. Een bezoek aan de dieren, zoals beren, lynxen en roofvogels is de moeite waard.
