Vanaf de parkeerplaats in Praxmar gaat u naar het zuiden direct rechts omhoog op het pad met wegwijzer naar het Westfalenhaus. Later steekt u het Schöntal boven Lüsens over en komt u op pad nr. 141, dat van Lüsens omhoog voert. Op het brede pad buigt u in het Längental naar het westen en bereikt na ongeveer drie uur het Westfalenhaus. De terugweg kunt u over de winterweg op de dalbodem naar Lüsens en retour over de bosweg naar Praxmar wandelen.
