Vanaf de dorpskern in Unterperfuss, parkeerplaats bij de Branger Alm gratis, voert een geasfalteerde weg in zuidelijke richting naar het slot Ferklehen. Langs de bosrand tot het begin van de provinciale weg, ongeveer 100 meter rechts over de velden en over een houten brug komt u uit in het bos. Daar voert een bosweg licht stijgend tot aan de laatste bocht van de straat naar Itzelranggen. Op de rijweg tot de eerste huizen van Itslranggen, door rechts verder tot het boerencafé Gutleben.
