Guided snowshoe walk
A snowshoe walk for young and old. It’s ideal for anyone who enjoys exercise and is also happy to be out in the fresh air during the winter months. We take the Patscherkofel lift to the Patscherkofel mountain station. From there we walk in snowshoes, accompanied by an experienced guide, up to the summit of the Patscherkofel. Walking time to the summit is approx. 1.5 hours. Once at the summit, you can stand and enjoy the magnificent view over the Tyrolean mountains and then head back down for refreshments in the traditional-style Gipfelstube mountain hut. We continue downhill through a delightfully unspoilt wilderness of stone pine forests and deep snow to the Patscherkofel mid-station and then on the gondola back to the valley. Total walking time: approx. 2.5 hours
The guided snowshoe walk is free for guests with a Welcome Card
Lift tickets, meals and snowshoe rental at own expense
Dates & meeting point
We meet at 9.30 am at the ticket office for Patscherkofel lift valley station. The guided snowshoe hike takes place always on a Thursday during the winter season. However, weather-related cancellations are possible, for example, because of strong winds or very bad weather.
