Route naar het startpunt
De wandeling begint op de parkeerplaats Grünberg in Obsteig. Langs een houten schuurtje volgt u het verloop van de weg (breed bospad) een stuk langs de vroegere skipiste. Wandelaars bereiken na ongeveer een uur wandelen de Zwischensimmering. Volgt u hier rechts de borden „Simmeringalm“ verder langs het bospad. De bestemming wacht na een verdere één à anderhalf uur wandelen.

U bereikt het startpunt via het Inntal. Bij Telfs resp. Mötz rijdt u het Mieminger Plateau op en verder naar Obsteig. Enkele meters voor het dorpseinde links afslaan en de wegwijzer volgen tot de parkeerplaats van de Grünberglift.
Bus 350 of 355 - halte "Obsteig Mosswaldsiedlung" (ca. 20 minuten wandelweg naar het uitgangspunt parkeerplaats Grünberglift). www.vvt.at.
