Route naar het startpunt
De wandeling start bij de parkeerplaats (betaald parkeren met muntgeld) bij St. Sigmund. Het eerste deel van het traject gaat over de rodelbaan (bospad) tot aan de Gleirschbrücke. Het gaat verder over het voetpad door het winterbos tot aan de Gleirschalm. Hier vindt u een zonnig terras en een klein, gezellig binnengedeelte. Er wordt Tiroler burgermanskost geserveerd. Deze winterwandelroute is ook geschikt om met kinderen te doen. De terugweg biedt zich aan voor een rodelpartijtje.
