Vanaf de Zirmbachalm op de AV153 tot aan de aftakking naar de Kreuzjoch. Hier rechts houden en de AV153 via de Narrenböden tot aan de bergkam (met wegwijzer) nemen. U bereikt deze na ongeveer drie uur wandeltijd. Nu gaat het rechts over de bergkam met zijn rotsen in een half uur tot aan de top.
