Op de weg naar de bedevaartskerk Maria Locherboden omhoog leert u veel over de effecten van het droge/hete klimaat op de zonnige zuidelijke kalkhellingen van de Fiechter Köpfls. Wist u bijvoorbeeld, dat op de droge helling onderaan de Locherboden het vedergras groeit, een plant, die anders alleen in de landen rondom de Middellandse Zee en op Aziatische steppes zijn thuis heeft?
