Vanaf het dorpscentrum van Igls voor het Sporthotel Igls langs de Eichlerstraße naar het Kneippcomplex. Daar buigt u rechtsaf naar het tramstation in Igls. Langs de rails van tramlijn 6 verder, langs de haltes Lanser See en Lans-Sistrans. Volgt u de weg, langs de golfbaan in Lans naar het Jausenstation Vogelhütte, en ga daar bergafwaarts op een bospad tot aan station Aldrans. De rails oversteken en na het tweede huis links afslaan. Langs de bosrand tot aan de speelplaats Tantegert. Daar gaat het rechts naar beneden door het bos tot aan de halte Tummelplatz, rechtdoor naar beneden tot de hoofdstraat. Steek deze over en ga dan door de ingangspoort het park in van slot Ambras.
