Vanaf de "Natuurpark Karwendel" parkeerplaats komt u in ongeveer een kwartier bij de kruising "7 Wege". Hier gaat u rechts in de richting Garzanhof. Rondom dit areaal werd in het jaar 1995 het Rumer Naturlehrpfad (educatief wandelpad) aangelegd, dat u in nog eens tien minuten bereikt. Vele borden beschrijven de botanische omstandigheden van de regio.
