Vanaf de bedevaartskerk Heilige Antonius leidt de aangegeven weg langs de Rietzer houtzagerij. Het gaat verder op een licht stijgende bosweg tot aan de „grüne Bank“, die tot een kleine pauze uitnodigt (wandeltijd circa anderhalf uur). Vanaf daar wandelt u op het bospad iets steiler bergop tot aan de Peter-Anich-Hütte.
