Forecast

Central European weather is still in summer lethargy! Winds from the south will bring a bit more humid maritime air to our region today. It will not be humid enough to keep the sun from shining, but it may still produce thunderstorms towards the evening.

Tendency

Monday will remain bright and warm with only a low risk of thunderstorms towards the evening. Tuesday will bring a change, however: With the foehn weakening, thunderstorms will develop.

Hasegg Castle and the Royal Mint in Hall

Opening Hours

Summer: Tuesday - Sunday 10.00 am - 5.00 pm
Winter: Tuesday - Saturday 10.00 am - 5.00 pm

The small, medieval town of Hall near Innsbruck is the birthplace of the Thaler and the Dollar, and its former mint became famous throughout the world. The museum here shows the development of coinage and the local silver-mining industry upon which it relied. The reconstruction of a full-size, former minting machine brings the past to life, and this can all be experienced within the original medieval walls. Why not climb the mint's tower, with its abundant history and extensive views over the Inn Valley? Please note: The Innsbruck Card only includes admission to the mint without the mint tower.
